Date of the Article: February 22, 2024 Date of the Blog: February 22, 2024 News source: CBS News This is a sad story about hurting and killing a 5 years old girl by her own father. Her body was never found and some people said Adam's wife killed her and some of them said it was Adam. When Harmony's birth mom and her mother who took care of her heard about this in a court they called Adam a “coward”. Harmony's mother said Adam never cared about her feelings and always tried to control her. Adam was guilty about what he did and he said he really loved Harmony but the judge didn’t listen to him after what ever happened and what harmony mother said. Upon completion of critical analysis of the news, there are possible biases to be recognized in the article. To begin with there is an emotional tone throughout the news article. Especially statements from the birth mother and foster mother and also the Manchester police chief. The emotional tone that's in the news article can possibly change the reader's idea of the case and who was involved. Secondly, the article focuses more on the case of the statement from the person that caused harm and also the governor of Adam montgomery. The defense point of view is there but it has the least amount of emphasis. Possibly framing Adam Montgomery in a negative way. The moral of the story is that we don’t want this to happen to anyone. We need to take care of our child and understand that and not control them too much. We shouldn’t let anyone kill their kids or hurt them badly.
